It don't know if it's because of spring or because we are in Lent, but about this time of the year I find myself having another look at how we are living, what we're eating, how we spend our money... I want to take stock, evaluate - try be a little mindful. Are the priorities right? Is it wise? Is it gentle? More scarily, I get an urge to clean out, even be a bit domesticated...But don't worry, that only happens once in a blue moon...
Our family are members of the L'Arche Inverness Community. I am a mother of two boys and married to a delightful Frenchman. He is the leader of a therapeutic garden project at L'Arche, but is also a metal engraver, jeweller and artist. I spend my time between home and L'Arche, as a House Assistant. I love sewing, knitting, photography and baking - life is too short! I speak a few languages badly. We are privileged to live in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands where we often sense our Creator. I enjoy telling stories and using Godly Play.
I take my photos using a Canon EOS 400D. If you want to use any of them, please be lovely enough to ask me first.
If you see anything on my blog that you are interested in, please do get in touch! I will do my best to reply to any questions you might have.
