40::6 Contentment

My children have taught me an awful lot - mainly about myself. But I love it when they get creative and inventive. Who needs a new toy? Mum's wool can be used in so many ways....A quiet hour later and we had an entire house art installation, with discoveries to be made at every turn.

Lesson learnt - reduce, reuse, rethink, do something new with old things...be content with what's at hand.

  1. My girls used to do this with wool...around the trees outside, in the house...like a web...we had to crawl through to get to the kitchen!!!
    It's amazing the insights our children give us into our lives and the world around us...
    We should all learn to do the three R's....reduce, recycle and reuse!

  2. I am loving your lent pictures, all of them very calm and reflective.
    I understand what you said now, about the boys playing with wool, lots of creative fun to be had there, gives you a chance to get some knitting done too!
    It was great to see you all at the community centre today, I thought it was a fantastic event.
