Well Hilary, you gave me the post card and I read the back so here I am. It is astonishing to see the connections between us :family, baking, reading and listening to Radio 4.I too listened to that worship from the Northumbria Community. I am finding a lot of solace in staying at home and appreciating the joy that brings.Church going has dropped from my world just now, funnily enough it did in Lent last year too,but I am finding peace and happiness elsewhere. The goodness of small things. Our family are members of the L'Arche Inverness Community. I am a mother of two boys and married to a delightful Frenchman. He is the leader of a therapeutic garden project at L'Arche, but is also a metal engraver, jeweller and artist. I spend my time between home and L'Arche, as a House Assistant. I love sewing, knitting, photography and baking - life is too short! I speak a few languages badly. We are privileged to live in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands where we often sense our Creator. I enjoy telling stories and using Godly Play.
I take my photos using a Canon EOS 400D. If you want to use any of them, please be lovely enough to ask me first.
If you see anything on my blog that you are interested in, please do get in touch! I will do my best to reply to any questions you might have.
